Celebrities make the world of a difference at events. This according to focus group research into hot trends in the 18 – 24 market around, what makes a campus lunchtime music event or youth campaign get much sought after mind share.

The value of having a celebrity as amn MC for your event or a current “Hot” artist as your performance, is a quite a simple reason. Because they are icons and role models to different pockets of youth circles, what they say gives your brand the time to engage with the market.

Who is hot at the moment? SABC 1’s LIVE show presenter Bonang is blazing a path of her own. Trevor Noah and JR are also hot on campus promo’s as MC’s students want to see at campus lunchtime music events. And with the rise of Hip Hop culture in the market, AKA, Khuli Chana, Teargas are hot as the must have music talent at an event.
