Student Village is proud to present the 7th annual Women’s Leadership Conference in August again this year. Made up of three separate events, the Women’s Leadership Conference inspires and encourages the female youth in South Africa to recognize and reach their immense potential.

Student Village has always committed itself to ensuring that these kinds of initiatives appear on campus and in 2010 we are raising our game yet again in our on-going pursuit of excellence. These conferences offer brands and graduate recruiters the opportunity to meet and interact with some of the country’s top women professionals. At the same time they can gain access to a talent pool, which is otherwise difficult to reach. At this year’s Women’s Leadership Conference, Student Village will also conduct on-site research relating to students’ experience of your brand, stand and offerings – an invaluable source of information.

The events will be held in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg. They are targeted at premier women students with dynamic leadership potential, and will attract the top final-year students from tertiary institutions in all these provinces.
The selected students will be treated to incredible speaker sessions, lunch and tea. In addition to this, we also facilitate breakaway group sessions, to give the delegates the opportunity to interact and inspire their peers.

The theme for this year is “Finding your Magic”. This will see all speakers sharing how they found their particular magic. The theme will also be echoed in the practical tips and guidelines given to delegates on how they can discover the magic within themselves.
